Omg you don’t like the textiles that are available? Just go shear a sheep, gather stinging nettles, skirt the fleece, rett the stalks to get at the bast fibers, make a spindle, spin the fiber, build a loom, disassemble a bike wheel to make knitting pins, weave your own cloth, knit your own socks, sew a tunic, go live in a bog without any human contact because all of this takes too much time for being social. This post is about technology.

wow, you’re using multiple heddles and a boat shuttle on a treadle loom? people who are serious about cloth use two beam looms and no shuttle. Skill issue. this post is about the command line

@akareilly@hachyderm.io I would love a situation where I collect nettles on my daily walk and drop them off somewhere (possibly involving some retting prep) and occasionally I get a shirt or pair of jeans out of it.

@akareilly@hachyderm.io also if you care about climate change stop using electricity and stop travelling anywhere But if you do those things (and still manage to be heard) you're an extremist and should be ignored
