... in that regard alone -- not accounting for hardware support or available software -- #NetBSD, followed by #OpenBSD, may be best bet for now among {Free,Net,Open}BSD.
Mind that #ZFS of NetBSD is from pre-OpenZFS era. I will be happy to be corrected on this.

... Within last 1-2 years when I looked into #Illumos & kin, it lacked support for Intel AX2{0,1}{0,1} (WiFi hardware). No point was then in checking for software available; support for wired (Intel) networking hardware; support for hybrid (Intel) CPU cores.
