Consortium of various players, goal was to develop sovereign LLM with 100B parameters, Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy funding it with 20M Euro until July 2026 (we're here)

What did they just release: a 30B-A3B model that looks a bit like NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Nano - because it pretty much is: https://research.nvidia.com/labs/nemotron/Nemotron-3/ with it's open architecture, code, dataset to reproduce results, and so on.
