The #UK government is run by bad parents who think that curfews and dumb rules can make up for their absolute inability to understand and follow their children. @fabio@manganiello.eu it's a more general problem. Most people are mostly honest, but a lot of politicians are less so. Politicians assume that if they are on the take, then everyone else is, so frame laws on presumption of guilt... For example Johnson was such a lazy arsehole he even said he was, when he said why he was against home working, as he didn't do anything when left to himself and therefore no one else can...

@fabio@manganiello.eu The curfew thing is absolutely stupid, especially in that it is "voluntary". What a waste of everything. I also generally hate the UK as a "nanny state", although not everything is bad. That said, I think many if not most kids are not "just fine". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Anxious_Generation
