@silverpill@mitra.social That may be necessary but not sufficient. HTTP is still the only common denominator, especially with many FEPs requiring a dereferencable HTTP URL? I don't see how any AP implementation that doesn't have a HTTP gateway could be generally useful, at least for interacting with the Fediverse at large...

@teohhanhui@mastodon.social It should be possible to publish activities to a HTTP gateway and send them directly to peers at the same time. FEP-ef61-aware peers will have no problem with HTTP-compatible 'ap' URLs (I used them in my Syncthing experiment). ----- By the way, I maintain a crate that contains all necessary components for FEP-ef61 implementation: https://docs.rs/apx_sdk/latest/apx_sdk/
