Ok but everything Trump does is illegal. Nobody enforces the laws on the books so what is one more law going to do?

This is at the state level. Trump and the federal government can’t do shit about state charges. Unless of course your last name is Polis, you’re the Governor of Colorado, and you like sucking Trump’s dick for funsies, then you’ll get on your knees for Trump. California ain’t doing that.
