some other deps they have abolished: american studies, women, gender & sexuality studies, mexican american and latino studies this is a result/an iteration of manufactured austerity. a mainstay in authoritative regimes they argued removing deps with some of the school's most notable and prolific scholars as professors was for financial reasons partly--UT Austin is the most highly funded public university in the country we need more people paying attention to this. like, yesterday
