Looking back over the past few years of electricity bills for July with #ConsumersEnergy in #Michigan, these were my overall rates (total bill / kWh):
July 2024: $0.199 / kWh
July 2025: $0.221 / kWh
July 2026: $0.245 / kWh
That's a 23% increase in #electricity cost in 3 years.

My 2026 usage is 24% lower than in 2024 but I'm paying basically the same.
