@amro@todon.nl An organic vapor + particulate combo filter will give you pretty broad spectrum protection against both gaseous decomposition products (adsorbed onto activated charcoal) and aerosolized dust (trapped by particle filter). Something like the 3M 60921 cartridge. They will fit both half and full face masks from 3M. Personally I find full face more comfortable especially if you need eye protection anyway, and the design of the air path draws clean outside air over the lens and prevents fogging. Some people like half faces though. If you're not dealing with a fine dust or vapor that can irritate your eyes, either will work.

    @amro@todon.nl You may find the 60923 cartridge is easier to find at home improvement stores, most of which don't stock 3M's entire product line. The 60923 is the same as the 60921 but dopes the activated charcoal with an alkaline material to neutralize acid fumes. It's a more general purpose filter that might cost a little bit more and you shouldn't need acid gas protection for typical plastic work, but will work just fine if it's all you can get.
