@Lili@donotsta.re MSC = Management Snap-in Control. It just defines which snap-ins appear in which layout in the Microsoft Management Console (mmc.exe)

@Lili@donotsta.re yup, I discovered that back then (I'm that old) but never found any documentation on the MSC file format, not in the MSDN documentation, nor other resources. It still seems largely undocumented, despite some security risks.
