@petrillic@hachyderm.io @timberwraith@mastodon.social also, simply "we won't do the harmful thing they're doing" is not enough. I need a credible assertion that the harms done will be reversed. "Credible" being a very critical attribute here. The democrats keep throwing away trans people, so their assertions that they won't do the thing harming me is not credible. So I have zero reason to vote for them, as they'll not -help- my situation any, and will still permit the harms being done. Asserting that the republicans will...keep doing the same thing? is mostly just a difference of degree and won't much matter.
