Ive been doing that...extremely disorganized is not the way...stupid stoner brain 😭
so, one of the reasons I love love love working in a professional kitchen, especially a fast paced on is the "dance"...every move is second nature, mise en place 🤷♀️ i dont want to take one step more than I have to. The dream 🥹

Unnecessary movement is fine when pissing around in your idle leisure time but if you you want things to run smoothly it pays to get efficient technique down, I've found. What ice cream are you going to make? I got a big bag of sweet black cherries so will do a vanilla cherry ripple tomorrow. I can not find sour cherries here and it's starting to get on my nerves.
