There's angry, there's disappointed, then there's hurt and betrayed, and then a parsec further along the same vector is the unnamed emotion I'm feeling now, watching the creator of the #freedom-championing OS I've used for a quarter century effortlessly, nonchalantly, and self-righteously side with the oppressor.
And not only side with them, but act like any objection is foolhardy, gauche, and a waste of time.

@rl_dane@polymaths.social I agree. I think I understand how you feel. He has always been an asshole who says obviously wrong things (see secure boot or telling contributors to kill themselves) but this feels different.
