Alstom increased procurement from Spanish suppliers to a record €700.89 million in the 2025/26 financial year, up 32% on the previous year, reinforcing Spain’s role as a strategic industrial and technology hub for the group. The company worked with 746 suppliers across the country, supporting a broad rail supply chain spanning design, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance and signalling. Alstom said the investment reflects confidence in the competitiveness of Spanish suppliers and helps support jobs and growth. The company has operated in Spain for more than 170 years, employs more than 3,000 people and runs over 30 sites, including four manufacturing facilities and specialist engineering and technology centres.
