I mean the Democratic Party is either going to adopt a new deal liberalism style platform, or it's going to get cored out from the inside by progressives who will. That much is already a foregone conclusion. What we're waiting to find out is if "the center" (read Vichy Democrats and neoliberal ghouls) is prepared to throw yet ANOTHER election to stop the will of the people from being enacted. They already did it twice so I can't say they won't go "fine then NOBODY wins" b/c they still have power
