its like if you had a way better chance of making it into the long term archaeological record if you had a lot of cvs receipts and your house burned down

like of course they were writing on greenware and only preserving stuff they thought was important by firing, imagine if you had to let all your fuckin notes dry out and then get put into read-only mode by the village potter every time you wrote something down
