It only takes one other neighbour to get all zealous and Tidy Towns-y on *their* verge to fuck that all up, though. Le Sigh.

@brad@1040ste.net @Nickiquote@mstdn.social @Lilysea@aus.social these are the same kind of people who broke my Mum's heart by moving in next door to my parents and cutting down the huge crab apple in their garden that produced beautiful blossom every spring. I hope they're regretting the loss of shade now at least
