The GDPR is about connecting you with your data so that they can arrest you for what you say online. No privacy. Yes, the propaganda says that it protects your data and in that it provides the evidence to prove that you wrote it it does but a motor mouth like you would not last long. Why do you think that more people go to prison for what they say online in Europe than in Russia? BTW California already has its version. The US on the other hand makes sites like Facebook, X etc. provide access so they are no better. When the US Border Agency was taken to court for spying on people they got off because they did not do the spying, they simply bought the data from Google, Apple etc. I object to any data being held in the EU because they do the exact opposite of protect it. The French arrested Durov because he would not give them a back door into Telegram. Is that protecting your data? That was why he left Russia when they tried to the same thing and then the US when they tried.
