lol she made such an unnecessary comment… of course they’re going to give the spotlight to the dude who did a crazy suicide. That’s what the story is about. Is she more surprised that a woman was able to land a plane? That’s telling

More that she was a student who landed a plane after her instructor literally jumped out and died. I get that landing a little cesna like that isn’t hard, but it’s a hell of an stressfull circumstance.

Some crazy fuck committing suicide by jumping out like that very much is news though Oftentimes the media won’t report on suicides in order to not inspire copycats. why should i be surprised someone who’s been training to fly was able to land a plane? Because it could have ended very badly if they weren’t trained enough.
