@paka@mastodon.scot I always try to maintain a steady speed to reduce the wave effect as much as possible. But some bugger inevitably nips into the gap and we're back to square one.

Truckers often want to keep a steady speed, but I've done this with fellow regular commuters, the kind who do their trip every day and have no delusions about being in a video game. I line up beside one and stay just below average traffic speed.
