Not only can those who are very rich easily afford to pay higher taxes, but they benefit, just like everybody else, from the fairer society, the improved infrastructure, and the cleaner environment that results from a good use of tax revenue, enticing them to stay rather than flee? Go figure. 🤔😉

@adirtyhippie@mastodon.online Mixed results in Norway https://www.reuters.com/business/norways-wealth-tax-trades-millionaires-equality-2025-11-24/ , but it always shows that a uniform front helps. I don't think they all want to live in tax heavens all year round.

Either the rest of us come away with better roads, safer bridges, affordable busses, and improvements to healthcare and education... or those leeches go away to bleed some other community. Win-win. Tax the rich.
