The 16-17 curfew being optional seems like a bit of a climb down or like DSIT officials managed to persuade ministers it was unworkable. Alternatively is it salami slicing like the smoking ban. Gradually normalising redirection? The lack of VPN age restrictions also seems like some reason, and arguments put to government against this having won out for the time being. #VPN #Socialmedia
