Brag time! I've had this idea for *years* and have been working on it with greater seriousness since early January. The slab came from a red maple that was in our tree lawn. The city cut it down when replacing lead water pipes. It is finished with tung oil. The uplighting are Sienna dim-to-warm strips and the bulbs are from the ghost line by Be•bulbs. I may be proudest of the flange, which is purely decorative. There is a functional one above it behind the drywall. #DIY #woodworking
