@st3fan@mastodon.social still no reason to misstate what is going on. This legislation is to codify what Facebook does in the Americas as well for their Messenger product. And has been doing for ages.

@bert_hubert@eupolicy.social I personally think memes like that are a lot better than to get people in a "it isn't as bad as it could be" state of mind. What we need is more fierce resistance and fight this all the way all the time.
