Alright, Kids. Propagation of tomato plants. I have started about 10 plants this way, as a start. Pinch sucker branches (the ones that grow between the main stem and a branch, in the centre of the V). Put the brwnches in water for wbout a week. There should be roots by the end of the week. Place the plants in pots for a week. Plant out. Remember that lettuce is made of water, so needs much watering. Also, practice cut and come again harvesting. I was getting salads for a month and a half off my first lettuce plants. Now harvesting whole heads but using this propagation method with lettuce leaves to have plants to start again when it gets cooler. Feed the neighbourhood. #bloomscrolling #Vancouver #gardening #food
