@vermaden@mastodon.bsd.cafe @Saorsa@neondystopia.world@neondystopia.world @rl_dane@polymaths.social I've talked to Saorsa before and if I remember correctly his main issue with the init that unlike Linux with a typical systemd setup he had to write init scripts on FreeBSD which wasn't something that he had to do on Linux. Personally I do think that rc.d is one of the nicer inits
