"As of May 18, 2026, the Climate Attribution Database contains 777 resources that explore the links between anthropogenic climate change, impacts, and applicability to litigation. These resources are listed in five sometimes-overlapping categories: climate change attribution, extreme event attribution, impact attribution, source attribution, and “court attribution” (use of attribution science in the courts)."

Unsurprisingly, climate attribution science is under attack. "An emerging field of research that can measure how much climate change has worsened individual disasters is under attack by friends of the fossil fuel industry. Billions of dollars are at stake." https://www.politico.com/news/2026/06/11/fossil-fuels-national-academies-climate-science-00897237
