You know all these cheap unbranded LED string lights, led controllers, lamps and bulbs you can buy e.g. on AliExpress that come with generic IR remotes? I've been working on an integration to easily support these in #HomeAssistant with an infrared proxy. The LED Infrared integration will land in the next release. Currently only 2 remotes are supported but I hope to add more. Contributions are welcome ^^

@tr4nt0r@chaos.social I had one of those strips, couldn't use the remote because the remote also controlled (parts) of my TV. Had to cover the IR receiver of the strip so the color would not change every time i controlled the TV volume with my TV remote. 😅

@tr4nt0r@chaos.social Infrared proxy sounds interesting. Do you have a link or something you can drop to get people started? I know that a Flipper Zero can capture infrared remote codes. Are the captures in a format that you can use to add the remotes to the integration? (Or to open a pull request)
