The specious notion that money is in any way an intrinsically finite resource is the most damaging social construct of the modern world. Religion is the opiate of the masses, economics is its fentanyl.

The poor eventually run out of money and pay with their labor and get nothing but sustenance. If the sustenance runs out, they eat the rich. We are a long, painful way from that in the west.
