I'm encountering a weird issue with my Mastodon instance and I'm wondering if any other self-hosters have encountered this:
My mastodon instance (the one I'm posting from) doesn't seem to be able to reach other subdomains on my domain.
This applies to both link verification and federation with other Fediverse apps. If it's another *.jelliefrontier.net domain, Mastodon can't reach it.

I've confirmed that the host and even the container in which Mastodon is running can reach those domains and resolve the correct IPs, so I don't think it's strictly a networking issue. The issue is exclusive to the Mastodon program itself. There are no logged errors or failed tasks in Sidekiq as far as I can tell. These operations just silently fail.
