Normies have degenerated to the point where they can't function without Google Maps, even though the very concept of a camera that can watch you from space is terrifying. And it's not a matter of regime, it's a matter of technology. Even if you somehow overthrow the government, the next one is absolutely still using surveillance state shit and further developing Ai to weaponize the data they harvest. Orwell quite reasonably saw the future as a boot stomping on the face of humanity forever, and there is no reason to believe without divine intervention that there's any way out of a future where everyone lives as caged animals from birth to death, without even the theoretical possibility of privacy. Jesus matters because He is the only reason not to give up.
