As accidents in the US have shown, CO2 pipelines pose major health risks: asphyxiation, mass-hospitalisations and long-lasting health impacts.
In Europe, a ruptured pipeline could even prove fatal.

👆 So why on earth does the EU want to spend €23 billion building 19,000 km of them? To keep the oil and gas industry in business, and dirty industries from cleaning up their act. All because it’s listening to “experts” (read: fossil fuel companies) pushing the “carbon capture and storage” con. ✏️ @cartoonRalph
