We are heading into unknown territory. Our best meteorologists can only warn us this will be the worst El Níno yet. They don't know in detail how bad this next year will be, as it's never been this hot.
This is so frightening, but is also so powerful to remind our leaders why acting on the #ClimateEmergency is vital.

@StingrayBadger@zirk.us I am having a lot of issues with data quality in the pre satellite era after all the Pacific Ocean is rather large, and instrumented recordings in the 1800s spare and prone to error but I might well be wrong
