last time i checked, audio descriptions for american linear TV only apply to the big four broadcast networks and the top 5 cable networks… whatever that means

i feel like audio descriptions are useful for more than just blind and low-vision viewers. they can help catch the viewer up with what's happening on screen if they have the show/movie on in the background (which applies to a growing number of folks)
