i can't blame people for not knowing, but they should educate themselves as to the basics of their voting system, in all its shit "glory"
and as Dr. Murphy notes, some of it like the Green Party is a straight cynical trojan horse play to divide the left vote and defeat the Democrats, encouraged by MAGA, and nothing more

I got vaguely excited about the US Greens offering a genuine alternative to Dem-GOP some years ago and it only turned me on to the micro-managed and hyper-commercialised nature of US politics. @too_little_caffeine@dotnet.social @jonesmurphy@mastodon.social @farlukar@mas.to @mkoek@mastodon.nl
