@ironicbadger@techhub.social I’d say the main use case for ghost is its cms and paid subscription services for memberships, aka substack clone; if you’re not using those features and you’re tech literate enough build a website, especially one that builds static outputs and utilizes markdown for posts, It’s a much more secure/stable/customizable option to use Astro or Hugo.
