@hopeful@firefish.oomfie.city i truly do wish that the purely democratic and incredibly anti-tyrannical spirit of 1848 had carried on into the modern republic but prussia cucked us so hard the spd was considered revolutionary at one point while they murdered the only actual socialists in the country in 1919

@hopeful@firefish.oomfie.city instead now we have essentially the same fucking thing except the tyrants are just billionaires whom are enabled and upheld by the government rather than the church. ordained not by god but by the law with no mechanism to depose them despite their nigh endless power and disdain for humanity
