@dima@dol.social Money is important to life, but it is not its foundation. When money and life are weighed against each other, life always carries the greater weight, because losing it means losing the ability to possess anything else forever.

But it seems strange to me that you don't receive a million dollars right now, and instead, for free, you're forced to suffer yet another day tomorrow. Money can't buy joy and happiness, but through choice, it can end the suffering and the arrival of tomorrow (in the context of depression and anhedonia). To me, it looks like being relieved of tomorrow's suffering - and getting paid extra on top of it. A sick brain perceives things differently, unfortunately. #Depression #MentalHealth #Health
