Today I went out early to beat the worst of the heat and rode the Wapsi Great Western Line Trail in Northern Iowa, from Bailey Station to Elma and back for 50 miles. As one might expect on a warm summer day there was not much to see at Lyla's Marsh other than two Great Blue Herons. It was interesting to see field work happening on two adjacent Amish farms, cutting hay with horse drawn machinery. There had been some flooding on the trail, so a couple spots were really messy. #BikeTooter
