@JordiGH@mathstodon.xyz i just try to remember that 0! is defined, so it probably should be the smaller one, so Γ(n) = (n-1)! or Γ(n+1) = n!

@calx@infosec.exchange See, this right here is the problem. I'm constantly having to remember which way I'm going, because going one way I have to subtract but going the other way I have to add. We could have just kept Π(𝑧) but noooo, for some reason that was tooooo hard, so have fun with that little off-by-one for all eternity.
