D&D 5e Monster Manual sprite sheet update: the Jabberwock! 😱 I went to the 5e Wild Beyond the Witchlight adventure book for my J monster. As I read more about the Jabberwock, it definitely qualified as a "boss" monster, so I designed it as such. They're almost never seen in their entirety, inhabit primal forests, and no more than one has ever been seen at a time. • D&D 5e Monster Manual sprite sheet continues. I accidentally did L and forgot K. So I went back to do K. Also, gave the Ettin a simple little animation. Tonight we have the Kobold and the Lich! Went for a cosmic sort of vibe with the lich, and classic dragon's den sort of kobold. • I always consider how this would look in a game. I kept the Jabberwock's limbs within the confines of the grid, so if one were to use the grid to to measure targets, you could attack the Jabberwock's limbs and eliminate them individually. Attacking its arms would remove the hands as well of course, and the wings or arms would not be able to use their attacks if removed. Jabberwocks do have crazy regeneration though, so it wouldn't be long before they come back. 🐉✨
