IN. THE. BIN, Microsoft. Since this morning’s windows update, ctrl-shift-c is a system-wide hot key to pop up Copilot Chat. which conflicts with it being “copy” in Windows Terminal. Terminal didn't use straight ctrl-c for copy because that's the interrupt key code in terminal apps. So the new behaviour is ctrl-c is copy if any text is selected in the terminal, otherwise it's passed through as the interrupt sequence. I just love having weird unexpected modalities pop up in the tools I have many many years of muscle memory around.
