@ieatfog@mastodon.social good for you for taking big steps to make your life better. You'll be so grateful for this as you age! I love the idea of regular strength and durability training.
Just working on having a strong body so a slip on some ice doesn't unhinge your spine, or a mis-step on a trail doesn't cause a fall!
I've been calling it "durability training" and I'm kind of wondering about making an app for it for my husband. He just needs something to easily follow! Maybe that would be fun to make

@thickurt@woof.group such a well earned cliche that sneaks up on you as trail through middle age, before you know it your body has changed a lot from what you took for granted and time really does fly. I guess for many men it takes some kind of slap to get them into action but it's crazy the difference even small things make. If there's no health implications a part of me kinda liked being a big fat bastard but going back the other way feels good too
