And yes, I recognize that, having identified as a lesbian for the majority of my adult life, saying I'm "not a strappy kind of girl" is inviting the tittering comment that a couple of you are teeing up right now... 😛
("Aren't you still a lesbian?" Dude, I don't even know what I am. Asexual/Ace seems to be the best label these days.)

@tankgrrl@hachyderm.io Labels are not eternal. They're context dependent and can vary wildly across periods of time. Often my own self-description is influenced by what I think someone is actually looking to find out, and what context they're coming from.
