Some time ago, a friendly soul here mentioned @krita which I never heard of before. Installed it. Totally loved it. Before I had the choice between Photoshop which I don't like, and gimp which I wanted to like for something like 2 decades, but the UX is below the level I can accept as a casual user. Asking an LLM to know how I crop is just not what I want. Now I can do my stuff with Krita. Awesome software. Thanks! (donation: done 🙂 ) #krita
