@xan@xantronix.social Alternatively, they're developers who never wanted to be or shouldn't have been made managers. They ran afoul of the Peter Principle, haven't been mentoring their teams, and now they get to pretend they don't have to anymore. The example questions aren't even manager level; they're senior or staff (engineer?). If they weren't asking them before then they weren't doing their job.
