Your Apple or Microsoft device has an identifier (or two). The software reports part of what the device is doing. Using a VPN does not protect your from your operating system. Trackers are placed ahead of due process. Regulations are always late, and insufficient. In the EU, @noybeu@mastodon.social is a leading litigator.
