Here's one thing that really gets on my nerves when tech and natural language meet: almost two decades on and Android's spell checker still can't get Italian verbs right. There's a lot of complexity involved, but it's the kind of structural complexity that is perfectly amenable to handling by a machine.

To explain why that is know this: the different tenses and moods generate *dozens* of forms for each regular verb. And additionally the language has the ability to stick the object, the subject or both to the verb. For example "give that to me" can be written as a single word (dammelo). And that's before getting into irregular verbs.
