@ck0@tech.lgbt @soatok@furry.engineer Regarding not being dependent on the whims of a single central org: Cwtch seems promising as it is completely decentralized over the Tor network and aims for good e2ee. Regarding Signal: they seem to have calmed down with kickban - I have been daily driving using Whisperfish as the primary app and no problem since a year.
