Uhhh… The show basically confirms your “head canon” in season 2.
Also, I’m just gonna say that I absolutely hate how people will still claim that Todd hates New Vegas/Obsidian; he’s gone on record multiple times saying that’s not the case, the entirety of season 2 of the show was literally “New Vegas 2.” The only reason your playthrough/ending of NV isn’t canon is because in lore it’s been about 15+ years since, and we all know nothing is ever permanent in Fallout.
I’m getting real tired of people spreading straight-up false information because it makes them feel better about a game they played when they were 10-13.

… a game they played when they were 10-13. Hey there, I’ll have you know I played it like 5 times when I was 10-13 and then consistently every few years until my 20s and then again a few years ago at 25 thank you very much.
